Digital Marketing Enablement Specialist

Jefferson Wells is seeking a Digital Marketing Tools Specialist consultant for an automotive client in the Metro Detroit area.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our analytics implementation team.

This person will be highly skilled in the best practices of implementing digital marketing tools and tags across client's digital properties, to enable modern marketing practices of analytics, personalization, and audience management.

The person in this role will work collaboratively with other teams, including client business stakeholders, IT and developers, and agency partners, to integrate measurement in digital solutions to meet the current and future business vision. This role may touch on any or all of the skills of strategy, operations, and technical project management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead successful integration of digital marketing tools and tags on client websites/apps


• Possess a strong command of digital marketing technology, directly with or applicable to Adobe Experience Cloud components such as below:

1. Adobe Analytics (or similar site behavior tools such as Google Analytics)


2. Adobe Target (or similar A/B testing and personalization tools)


3. Adobe Audience Manager (or similar audience / DMP platforms)


4. Adobe Launch (or similar tag management tools such as DTM or GTM)

• Collaborate with similar tool enablement teams from other client orgs and agencies to plan and coordinate implementation


• Serve as a liaison between other technical and business teams, acting as a technical translator to connect business needs to technical strategy and requirements.


• Able to facilitate multi-team deployment projects for marketing data collection


• Contribute to and follow established standards to maintain consistency in data collection and reporting across digital properties and stakeholders


• Provide strategic guidance for maximizing client's digital marketing effectiveness

Requirements:

3-5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level digital analytics solutions:

1. Digital/Website Analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)


2. Tag Management Tools (e.g. Adobe Launch/DTM or Google Tag Manager)

• Strong preference for candidates with some or all of the following experience:

1. DMP (data management platform) such as Adobe Audience Manager


2. A/B Test and Personalization tools such as Adobe Target


3. Other Marketing Tools / Tags such as media tags, survey, session replay


4. HTML/Javascript/Browser Tech familiarity, coding experience a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly, and know when to seek assistance or escalation


• Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, omnichannel marketing, mobile, data-driven optimization of experiences, browser cookies and 1st party data.


• Must be curious to discover, understand and make decisions/recommendations based on best practices in support of digital marketing technical solutions.


• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical digital solution, context, and implications to client business stakeholders.


• Ability to lead multiple projects/priorities across multiple disciplines (Business, IT, and external partners).


• Ability to navigate conflict, and effectively negotiate and communicate changes in deliverables, expectations, and timing.


• Ability to support internal team and agency team members with project prioritization to ensure overall achievement of defined goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, data science, marketing, or business.


• 5+ years of digital expertise that includes knowledge of online/mobile/content/e-commerce marketing, digital media, CRM, UX, web analytics, optimization, personalization, tag management, privacy laws, etc.


• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, browser cookies.


• Regular use of online diagnostic tools
